How to Measure Your Dog: Correctly fitting your dog requires two measurements: • Length of your dog from its collar to base of its tail. • Distance around the girth from just behind the front legs. Use the chart to find the right size. Dog must be standing square in order to get proper measurement. Please keep in mind that the girth measurement is the most important for a proper fit. If you get an odd number for a measurement, we suggest that you round up to the next even numbered size if your dog is big boned (or a little thick) and round down to the next even numbered size if your dog is slimmer. If you have a hard to fit dog, please measure your buddy as described below and email the results to us at sales@premierpetsupplies.com. We'll take a look at the measurements and help determine the best size for your canine companion. • Length of dog from collar to base of tail. • Circumference of chest just behind front legs, at its deepest part. • Circumference of neck at collar. • Distance between the font legs at the dog's chest. • Circumference around the widest part of the dog's belly. • Circumference around the front leg above the dog's "elbow" where it joins at the body.
